Chapter 1 delayed briefly


Due to some technical and review issues, the release of Chapter 1 will be delayed to this early week (Wednesday is my new release date). Nothing too complex, but the number of choices and the resulting text changes have taken a lot more time to edit/review and playthrough to ensure the story is working properly. There are three possible endings with about 19-20 choices that are made and tracked in the chapter.

A few pages currently have sub-optimal layouts (overly long). I learned something new, called "combinatorial explosion." And it seems to fit the bill for me thus far. :-) I've got a few ideas on how to fix the layouts, and they should be somewhat superficial to correct, none of the options should require breaking core components of the game as I will just be fixing the layout of the text.

It will take a bit of time to learn and get implemented. The plan will be to introduce it into Chapter 2, and they will be phased into Chapter 1 as resources allow in order to fix the layout problems there.
